What do you prefer? For me, it's always been energy drinks, particularly Bawls. I have to admit, I like the taste of Bawls in my mouth. I'll deal with the taste of Monster and Spike Shooter, though. I can't stand Red Bull, though, it's terrible and over-hyped. I'll deal with Spike Tablets, although I'm wary of the pure caffeine pills. As far as regular coffee goes, I'll drink it, but more for the taste than the meager caffeine content. Also, I'd like to try caffeinated jello =D |

I prefer not to screw with energy drinks or supplements. Usually when you are tired it's your body saying "Fucko get some rest... jerk" and when you trick your brain into thinking it's not tired bad things can result.

Meh, sleep deprivation isn't very bad for you as long as you catch up on it within a few days. That being said, the effects of caffeine itself are debated. Some even say it does more good than harm, although anyone in caffeine withdrawal will clearly say otherwise. |

personally, whenever I need a boost to either wake up or stay awake, I grab a Mtn Dew and usually something sugary and I'm good to go. I've tended to make a habit of this in mornings before school o_O As for energy drinks and coffee, I don't like the taste of either. Pop does me justice every time, although you think your body would get used to the caffeine content in them after drinking them a lot o_O |

Meh, mountain dew has so little caffeine, but people all like it. As of late, Spike Energy Shot's been my caffeine supplement of choice. Crazy shit. |

As a rule, I don't drink energy drinks. Too much sugar in normal ones, and the carb-less ones taste nasty in my limited experience. Also, I've gone a while without a lot of caffeine, so my tolerance is back to being pretty low. A large cup of coffee would probably be enough to set me off. Coffee is my poison of choice either way. Caffeine is good for your body in limited doses. Too much and your body goes a bit crazy, the detriments outweighing the benefits. Not only do I like sleep, and therefore won't take so much that I'm going to be up all night, but if I intake caffeine, it tends to throw my sleep pattern off slightly unless I have it really early on in the day, which is not beneficial to my class schedule. Overall, as with most things, caffeine is good in moderation. |

Hogwash, Bunnykins. Sleep is great and all, but live a little! Throw off your sleep schedule, get a couple hours of sleep before your class, stay up, do things, meet people! Sleep is for the weak. >.> |

Caffeine doesn't do anything for me, plus it's bad for you. I naturally don't sleep too much anyway. Weed is my drug of choice. Helps me get things done and whatnot. |

There's always people that're caffeine insensitive. Sucks. I've actually never smoked weed, to be honest. Was dating a crazy straight edge guy the only time I had an opportunity. |

I've never smoked either, although I did get a contact buzz once, never even felt it o_O But yeah, I don't usually tend to drink caffeine for the hype of it. It actually helps me concentrate better; get my mind to concentrate on one thing instead of many. I don't know how, but it works lol My most common application of this practice is drinking a pop to get my mind off the fact of I haven't eaten in 8 hours. |

Yeah. I appreciate higher levels of caffeine. It might sound weird, but I like bouncing off the walls. It's fun as hell. Joooooooooooooolt... *sips Jolt* |

lol, usually if I get to the point of bouncing off the walls, it's self-induced, not a caffeine rush. Like if something exciting is coming up, or stuff like that xD |

Rofl. I just tried Monster Hitman; 240mg of caffeinated goodness. It's not as strong as Spike Energy Shot (what is?), but it's not as rough; even those less acclimated to caffeine should, at most, get slight jitters, but none of the stomach discomfort that sometimes comes with Spike. |
